Aims and Objectives

1. To promote and encourage lifelong adherence to Tagore ideals and values amongst the ex-trainees.
2. To encourage and invite the involvement of the ex-trainees in the efforts of the College.
3. To bring about social awareness and change through effective community service.
4. To provide a forum for maintaining links between ex-trainees.
5. To provide better interaction between ex-trainees, Staff and present trainees.
6. To conduct intra/inter College seminars, debates, quizzes, etc.
7. To provide financial assistance in the form of scholarship to talented, needy and poor trainees.
8. To set up special awards, trophies etc. for community service, proficiency in academics, sports, arts etc.
9. To bring out souvenir, newsletter, directories etc. from time to time.
10. To facilitate and strengthen the academic, social, cultural activities of TGCE by suggestions and proposals for the overall improvement of the Institute and inculcate the values of Nationalism.
11. To approach various agencies for the strengthening of training programme.
12. To make a link with university and other controlling agencies of TGCE for academic excellence.
13. To facilitate the trainees to get placements in educational institutions as per their efficiency and merit.
